Oliver Spatchek is the AT&T AVP responsible for data-driven network APIs and cutting-edge technology introduction through the AT&Ts Innovation Studio. In his current role, Oliver is focused on building the “Network of You” that will allow network users to customize wireless and wired networks to their needs on a level never seen before.
A graduate of the University of Arizona with a PhD in computer science, Oliver combines academic rigor with practical industry experience applied to network technologies. During his 25 year career at AT&T he has been recognized as an AT&T Fellow, introduced multiple concepts from ideation to production, received over 160 patents, published over 75 papers, and served in multiple roles within the open source community.
