Jorge Brites has more than 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as Senior Manager of Architecture & Innovation at Cirion Technologies, a spin-off of Lumen Latam since August 2022. His responsibilities in this role are scouting of new technologies and services, interface with the product development department, definition of software platforms and network controllers, and the integration strategy between the OSS and the BSS. At the same time, he carries out the function of MEF LSO’s Program Manager within Cirion, with the goal of promoting the adoption of this reference framework and helping the implementation of Sonata and Cantata.
Professor of the master’s degree in telecommunications at the University of Buenos Aires since 2008 and a member of the MEF since 2012, He has worked on the evangelization of the adoption of the MEF standards, as a fundamental pillar in the telecommunications market, both from the private sector as well as the academic one.
