His main role consists of supporting the digital transformation of SES products and core business capabilities to enable a superior digital experience for customers through self-service along the customer journey touchpoints for both business and operations activities. He also helped enhance core capabilities to increase orchestration and automation that enable transparency and speed in the interactions with customers.
Prior to SES, David Villegas worked for the NASA Deep Space Network, modernizing the ground stations. He supported digital transformation for multiple industries, including publishing, insurance, superior education, governments, and more. He was able to bring best practices across multiple industries.
David’s latest initiatives, in collaboration with partners, have been the contribution and implementation of MEF Performance and Streaming APIs for service performance monitoring. He also led a TMForum Catalyst showing how TMForum ODA and Open APIs could work together with customer-facing MEF LSO Order APIs.
